# Placeholders

PlaceholderAPI values for Jails and Jails+.

Install PlaceholderAPI. The expansion registers when Jails or Jails+ loads. After an update, run `/papi reload`.

The prefix is `%jails_...%`.

## Both editions

| Placeholder                   | What it returns                     |
| ----------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| `%jails_isjailed%`            | Whether the player is jailed.       |
| `%jails_ishandcuffed%`        | Whether the player is handcuffed.   |
| `%jails_jailname%`            | Jail name.                          |
| `%jails_reason%`              | Jail reason.                        |
| `%jails_jailer%`              | Staff member who jailed the player. |
| `%jails_timeleft%`            | Remaining time.                     |
| `%jails_timeleft_seconds%`    | Remaining seconds.                  |
| `%jails_jail_location%`       | Jail coordinates.                   |
| `%jails_original_location%`   | Location before jail.               |
| `%jails_totalcount%`          | Number of jailed players.           |
| `%jails_jail_count%`          | Number of jails.                    |
| `%jails_jails_list%`          | Jail names.                         |
| `%jails_jailed_players_list%` | Jailed player names.                |

## Jails+ only

| `%jails_bail%`         | Formatted bail amount.             |
| `%jails_bail_raw%`     | Raw bail number.                   |
| `%jails_hasbail%`      | Whether the prisoner has bail set. |
| `%jails_isipjailed%`   | Whether the jail is an IP jail.    |
| `%jails_flag_count%`   | Number of flags.                   |
| `%jails_flags_list%`   | Flag names.                        |
| `%jails_ipjail_count%` | Number of IP-jailed players.       |
